Wrap Around Care at Sopley Primary School

Please see the details below of the days and sessions available for wrap around care, along with the costs. We have a new booking system from September, please also see the details below explaining this.

Before school care Monday to Friday - Starts at 8am and finishes at 8.40am (children go straight to their classrooms) - cost for the session is £2.50. Breakfast is not included.

After school care Monday to Thursday - Starts at 3.15pm and finishes at either 4.15pm or 5.15pm, depending on whether you are booking a 1 hour or 2 hour session - cost per session is £3.00. If you require your child to attend after school care after a club, from 4.15 - 5.15pm, this can also be booked as a session. Children who are booked in the late session 4.15 - 5.15pm are offered a drink and snack.

To book and pay for wrap around care sessions for your child you will need to access your child's Scopay (Tucasi) account. The easiest way to access Scopay is via the Scopay app - available on all iOS and Android devices, please see the link below for more information.

To book and pay for wrap around care sessions please follow the steps below.

- Using the Scopay app go to balances, select your child/children, each child will need to be booked individually.

- Click on the relevant tab, 'before school care' / 'after school care'.

- Select 'top up balance' and add the total amount for the sessions you would like to book, you will be redirected to a payment platform, this is the same way payments are made for school dinners.

- Select 'calendar' and select the date and session/sessions you would like to book your child in for.

Once the sessions are booked the office is notified and the wrap around care team will expect your child to attend the sessions you have booked.

All sessions are to be booked via this new system. It means booking in advance and the latest parents can book is the day before, you will not be able to book sessions on the day. If you have an emergency on the day and need after school care, please contact the school office as soon as possible.

Using this booking system will be more efficient for parents and for the school. As parents, it is your responsibility to book your child in for the correct sessions. If we do not have your child booked in, they will not be able to attend the session, this is because we have to know the number of children attending in advance to ensure we have the right number of staff.

We are also now able to accept childcare vouchers, if you will be using these to pay for your child's/children's wrap around care please inform the school office.
